Afterpay driving lessons: FAQ
How does Afterpay work for driving lessons?
Choose a lesson pack or test day package on this page, select Afterpay at checkout and pay in 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks. The first payment is made when you buy. Then email your receipt to admin@goldenroaddriving.com.au and we'll send you a booking code so you can book your lesson times online.
Who can pay with Afterpay?
Afterpay customers must be 18 or over and meet Afterpay's eligibility criteria. If the learner is under 18, a parent or guardian can buy the package with their own Afterpay account.
How do I book my lessons after paying?
Email your payment receipt or a screenshot of the confirmation to admin@goldenroaddriving.com.au. We check the payment and email you a unique booking code, which you use to book each lesson online at a time that suits you.
Can I use Afterpay for my driving test (PDA)?
Yes. Test Day: Meet at Centre and Test Day: Pick-Up & Drop-Off can both be paid with Afterpay. You book your PDA with the Department of Transport first, then send us your test date, time and centre.
Where do night lessons start?
5-Hour Night Pack lessons start from 6pm and meet at Joondalup Station or Butler Station. You choose your station at checkout. Prefer home pick-up? Email us before you book and we'll confirm if your suburb is covered. For learners under 25, driving between sunset and sunrise counts towards the 5 night hours in your log book.
How long are lesson packs valid?
Lesson packs are valid for 2 years from purchase.
What happens if I miss an Afterpay payment?
Your Afterpay payments are managed by Afterpay, not by Golden Road Driving Academy. Late fees may apply, so check your payment dates in the Afterpay app.
Can I pay by card instead?
Yes. We accept Visa and Mastercard. You can book single lessons, lesson packs and test day options by card on our Lessons & Pricing page.
